I haven’t been blessed with the best skin. Blame it on genetics, hormones, sensitivity or inadequate cleansing, I’m not sure what it was but in my teens and twenties I was breaking out on the daily. With so many options available on the market today, I knew that it was just a matter of time before I would find the products and a skincare routine that kept things in check.
Whenever I travel, I like to pick up some of the local beauty products – it’s a fun way to discover new goodies that aren’t readily available in Canada. I came across Yojiya products during a layover at Narita International Airport a couple years ago. Checking out the duty-free and souvenir shops is almost always the best way to pass the time before boarding the next flight.
Since I can’t and shouldn’t bring my entire haul of makeup products with me when I’m away for work, I do my best to bring the essentials that are quick and easy to apply and waterproof for the humid and tropical weather.
